dc.description This item includes a segment of an a student interview in a Writing Intensive course in a sophomore honors seminar at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. The interview was conducted in 2014 and in this clip the interviewee is considering how well this place-based Hawaiʻi education may transfer to other places.
dc.description.abstract Brief excerpt from interview: I'm a military kid... it's very difficult for me to stay in a place for too long. So I'm not too concerned about leaving Hawaiʻi. I don't think it's a thing we're gonna lose... I feel like we're at least going to be connected. I would certainly like to see something like [care farming] happen in Hawaiʻi.
