dc.description This item includes a segment of an a student interview in a Writing Intensive course in a sophomore honors seminar at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. The interview was conducted in 2014 and in this clip the interviewee is discussing administrative support for institutional change at the university level.
dc.description.abstract Brief excerpt from interview: I think it's generally difficult for universities to accept change as far as improving the campus grounds with gardens and things and I feel like if it was any other location you would have the difficult with weather, which is all the more reason that this shouldn't be a challenge in Hawaiʻi. You pay so much, you should get your money's worth, I assume. I felt like this was my home and it just really hurt that we couldn't make it better.
