Abstract

Brief excerpt from interview: This was actually practical experience we got. We actually visited sites and met with people and talked with them and... I was able to extract that and put it into the paper so it was pretty neat to be able to do that... [The learning] was more towards Native Hawaiian culture where they don't really write, they just listen and then imbue that in what you do in everyday life versus jotting it down on paper and just committing it to memory just for a grade.
