  • The prepublication works of the East-West Center Working Papers series are written by EWC staff and Visiting Fellows. The projects are generally discussion papers or works destined for formal publication elsewhere. EWC Working Papers are sold through the bookstore and are available for free download.

  • The Asia Pacific Bulletin (APB), produced by the East-West Center in Washington, publishes summaries of Congressional Study Groups, conferences, seminars, and visitor roundtables, as well as short articles and opinion pieces. APB summaries are always two pages or less, designed for the busy professional or policymaker to capture the essence of dialogue and debate on issues of concern in US-Asia relations.
  • A quarterly newsletter reporting on analysis of contemporary issues in the region conducted by East-West Center researchers and their colleagues worldwide. The Observer replaces the bi-monthly newspaper, EWC Views, and will give greater emphasis to Asia-Pacific research.   • Presents results of surveys of security analysts from the Asia Pacific region, an outgrowth and continuation of the "Asia Pacific Security Outlook" project and book series launched in 1997 under the joint sponsorship of the Japan Center for International Exchange (JCIE), the ASEAN/ISIS institutions, and the East-West Center.
  • Asia-Pacific Population & Policy is a four-page policy brief, issued quarterly, that summarizes research on population and reproductive health for policymakers and others concerned with the Asia-Pacific region.
  • Asia-Pacific Population Research Reports provide an informative discussion of research on important population issues facing the Asia Pacific region. They are intended for social and health scientists, policymakers, program managers, and the interested public. Funding is provided by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
  • A quarterly periodical containing articles on population issues affecting the Asia Pacific region, book reviews, and news about population activities in the region. This series began publication in 1974; over the years, the name of the series has changed several times. Additional issues may be found under the following series names: Asian and Pacific Census Newsletter, Asian and Pacific Census Forum, Asian and Pacific Population Forum.
  • A quarterly periodical containing articles on population issues affecting the Asia Pacific region, book reviews, and news about population activities in the region. This series began publication in 1974; over the years, the name of the series has changed several times.
