Brief excerpt from interview: As a writer, I don't know if it's changed me but it's just made me a better writer, because I feel that every time I write I notice my weakness, and I strengthen it. So with every writing assignment I have I feel that I become a better writer.

This item includes a segment of a student interview in a Writing Intensive course in Nursing at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. The interview was conducted in 2014, and in this clip the interviewee is responding to the question '(How) did this course change you as a person, as a writer, as a scholar, if at all?'
