Abstract
The American Heritage Dictionary identifies a student as "one who attends a school, college, or university". In our society, it is usually compulsory for children from six to sixteen to attend school. We have in our schools millions of children who hate where they are, what they are doing, and who they are doing it with. We also have students who like it as it is. In either case, our students are individual people. They have different capacities to learn, different approaches to learning, different back g round experiences, different physical abilities, and probably the most important, different interests and motivation.
