dc.description.abstract | Brief excerpt from interview: As you meet people in the class, one of the things I always ask is where you are from . . . Once you get into a management issue I'm always interested in people . . . I've seen a lot of people from Hawaiʻi who are horrible writers, and in English at least, and the reason for that is of course because they are so heavily influenced by speaking Pidgin their whole life. | |
