Abstract
Brief excerpt from interview: I see [writing] a book figuring into my future. [When] I think how much we've learned from books or from... songs... [and how] I've learned a lot from [them it makes me want to write a book]. I think for the sake of our people and for my children, writing a book about our legacy of our family would be awesome. Writing a book with Hawaiian thought in the right way is still an awesome thing to do... that way I can have something tangible to use.
