Abstract
I envisioned that taking a course in creative expression would enable me to express feelings more freely in movement as well as in speech. I discovered this and much more to be true, as I became more relaxed in movement, more aware of space and my environment, more enriched by my imagination, and more able to concentrate deeply. Each day of the class I participated more actively in class discussions, used my senses to a greater extent, and became more adept in expressing thoughts through movement. Through the course, I gained understanding and appreciation of creative movement and I wish to further them through this thesis. I would also like at sometime in the future to enrich the lives of children through creative movement.
