dc.description.abstract Brief excerpt from interview: [For] most of the Writing Intensives, the main assignment was always to produce, for us, something what would be publishable: a scientific paper... that was challenging, the hardest paper I ever wrote because I've never done that type of thing before... It was a crash course in scientific writing.
