dc.description.abstract In this article, we identify the roots of disability studies in interdisciplinary intellectual traditions as the basis for its current creativity, as well as its challenges in serving multiple academic masters. Looking to the future, we suggest rethinking and teaching disability through an integrative, interactive framework of juncture/disjuncture.
