dc.description This item includes a segment of a student interview in a Writing Intensive course in Nursing at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. The interview was conducted in 2014, and in this clip the interviewee is responding to the question 'Regardless of your plans, will this course or the writing in it remain with you? If so, how?'
dc.description.abstract Brief excerpt from interview: My idea of maybe going to Washington some day: a lot of the Hawaiian population is going up to Washington, and they still need to know the culture, and it also makes me open to learning about new cultures like the Native Indian culture in Washington . . . so that way I can be respectful and sensitive to their culture as well . . . so I feel the information might not be the same but the way about to get the information is the same, so I'll definitely take that with me.
