dc.description.abstractThe 2017 NFLRC Intensive Summer Institute (ISI) entitled Pathways to Project-Based Language Learning (PBLL), was conducted from August 2-9, 2017 at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. In total, sixteen K-16 language educators participated in the six-day institute, representing six different priority languages: Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish, and Vietnamese. They were guided by a group of language experts with backgrounds in project-based learning, language pedagogy, instructional technology, teacher development, and assessment. This report serves as a summative evaluation through the participants’ End-of-Institute Evaluation Survey with a 100% response rate.
