dc.description.abstract The presence of sulfur crystals formed by condensation around fumarolic vents is a common and widely observed phenomenon in volcanic regions. The flowage of sulfur in a molten state is very rare, however, and is sufficiently unique to suggest a permanent record of its occurrence.
