Abstract
The presence of sulfur crystals formed
by condensation around fumarolic vents is a
common and widely observed phenomenon in
volcanic regions. The flowage of sulfur in a
molten state is very rare, however, and is sufficiently
unique to suggest a permanent record
of its occurrence.
