Abstract
Effective production design can illustrate the world in which a story is told. Production design elevates the story and makes it more authentic. This project allowed me to synthesize my two areas of interest, which are film and fine art. My first component is my look-book of production design ideas, the second is my script for the film, and the third is my result of the two, a short experimental film. My final film explores themes of trauma, coming of age, healing, self- identity, and relationships. I believe that telling the story emotionally through character behavior is most important. This is best accomplished as a team and the directing style I have and want to take with me into every project I do is collaboration.
