| dc.description | Genre: Medicine/huru. Bapak Pui described no less than ten huru, of his arsenal, on the same occasion. Perhaps that is why most of the narratives are short, apart from him being focused and knowledgable. This file is 'huru muku' (huru banana). It is also hung among the fruit trees too, to protect them, as a kind of curse. A pierced (with sharp piece of wood) banana (same red one)is put by the stem of the tree that one intends to protect. Symptom: diarrhea, foamy like saliva. Cure: Chew red banana root with areca nut, piper betel and lime, then apply the mixture to the belly. Pui comments there is another huru that involves a small banana, different. recorded in the afternoon 20 June -15, with the AT2020 mic, sitting in the main, front room, my "studio".
