dc.description | Upper Tanana Athabascan is defined by its unique vowel system, result of language change. Recent fieldwork shows that these developments are not concluded, demonstrating the need for continuing documentation to avoid being left with an obsolescent snapshot. We need to generate a movie of a language, not a still image. | |
