Abstract

About 350 scholars, officials, educators and business leaders from 30 countries gathered at the 2018 EWC/EWCA international alumni conference in Seoul, South Korea on August 23-25, 2018 at the Lotte Hotel Seoul. The conference theme was "Intercultural Engagement in the Asia-Pacific Community" and involved over a hundred presenters in seven substantive plenary sessions and twenty-four concurrent panel sessions.

Awards for the EWC/EWCA Distinguished Alumni and EWCA Outstanding Volunteer, 21st Century Outstanding Service, and Outstanding Chapter were presented during a luncheon on August 25th. Participants enjoyed a cultural performance at the welcome reception and put on their own traditional talent show during the closing Aloha Banquet.
