dc.description.abstract This study examined the effectiveness of family bookmaking to promote early language development. Forty-two children receiving early intervention services and their families participated in the study. Our results suggest that family bookmaking engages parents, increases the quality of parent-child language interactions, and increases children’s understanding of language.
