dc.description.abstract | Observations of physical structure and circulation are reported and analyzed. Groundwater discharges into the harbor are large and dominate an unusual circulation pattern that produces excellent flushing. A simple numerical model is used to determine residence times, which are found to be of order 12 hr. | |
