Abstract

Description

This moment of pandemic has given us space to reconsider our possible, probable, and preferred futures. In this moment, we can reimagine a new set of purposes for the public sphere, and for public education, forged in the struggle for civic justice. Civic educators, and therefore all public school educators, can challenge the neoliberal project by looking to and learning from the powerful pedagogical practices being used by young people.
