dc.descriptionEstablished in 2004, the Language Documentation Training Center has been entirely initiated and run by graduate students in the Linguistics department, University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, to contribute to the worldwide effort to document endangered languages. In this presentation, we will describe its history, growth, and potential as model for community based documentation effort.
