Abstract
In the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020 has made the issue of pandemic prevention a focus of widespread attention from all walks of life. However, architectural scholars at home and abroad focus more on medical buildings, living environment, urban planning, and community construction, and pay less attention to the pandemic prevention design of campus environment and public teaching buildings. However, the university campus is an important battlefield for pandemic prevention and control, and the public teaching building is the focus and difficulty of pandemic prevention and control in colleges and universities, and it is necessary and important to conduct pandemic prevention design research on it.What is the intrinsic relationship between the spread of respiratory infectious diseases and public teaching buildings? How to prevent and control the spread of respiratory infectious diseases in public teaching buildings? How should we endow public teaching buildings with pandemic prevention attributes? Based on this, this dissertation attempts to discuss the pandemic prevention design of public teaching buildings in the Yangtze River Delta region in China and takes the An Building in Tongji University Jiading Campus as an example to carry out pandemic prevention design and transformation. The working ideas of the dissertation are as follows: 1.Summarize the definitions and characteristics of respiratory infectious diseases and public teaching buildings, analyze the relationship between buildings and the built environment and the spread of respiratory infectious diseases from the perspective of space, and summarize the possible hidden dangers of the spread of infectious diseases in public teaching buildings. 2.From the general layout, external space, gray space, and internal space of the existing public teaching building, analyze its spatial characteristics and propose corresponding pandemic prevention design strategies and key points. 3. On the basis of the previous research, taking the An Building in Tongji University as an example, combining the strategy of pandemic prevention design with actual cases, and discussing the effect of pandemic prevention design on public space from the four aspects of internal space, external space, gray space, and ventilation strategy. The feasibility and adaptability of the teaching building verify the results of theoretical research.
