The UH Digital Arts and Humanities Initiative (DAHI) existed from Fall 2011 to November 2019, when it was taken offline without warning. You can find some of what we published on the Internet archive by putting http://dahi.manoa.hawaii.edu into their wayback machine, but many more projects in the middle of development were deleted, you can explore the range of projects that were under development at http://github.com/digiah. Here is what it used to do until was deleted:
DAHI explores the full potential of today’s digital resources and capabilities in the broad realm of the Arts and Humanities.
The chief goal of the initiative is to provide open access for state-of-the-art instances of digital performance. The DAHI community creates an environment of trust, so that anyone with an idea can find collaborators and access resources to pursue a range of cross-disciplinary and multimedia projects.
