Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP)
Permanent URI for this community
The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) provides undergraduate students at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa with access to research opportunities. UROP offers research and presentation awards for student-initiated independent undergraduate research endeavors at UH Mānoa. UROP is also a resource for UH students to connect with researchers worldwide.
Students who have participated in past projects funded by UROP have conducted invigorating research in countries such as Iran, Nicaragua, and France. Recipients have worked in fields ranging from music to the sciences to business. Students have written novels, conducted cross-cultural studies, and designed micro-robots. As long as a student can conceive it, it is possible through UROP!
