Ka Leo

Permanent URI for this community

Started in 1922, Ka Leo O Hawai‘i is a student-run media program that focuses on news, features, sports and more through our website, social media, print newspaper and the Mānoa Now app. The newspaper currently prints once a month, except on holidays and during exam periods. Circulation is currently 6,000. Ka Leo is funded through student fees and advertising.

Its editorial content reflects only the views of its writers, reporters, columnists and editors, who are solely responsible for its content.

The Student Media Board, a student organization chartered by the University of Hawai‘i Board of Regents, published Ka Leo O Hawai‘i. Issues or concerts can be reported to the board via uhsmb@hawaii.edu.
