Planning and Implementing a Metadata-Driven Digital Repository
(Haworth Press Inc., 2005) Chopey, Michael A.

This chapter presents a brief introduction to the purpose of metadata and how it has developed, and an overview of the steps to be taken and the functional expertise required in planning for and implementing the creation, storage, and use of metadata for resource discovery in a local repository of information objects.
