Hopperdietzel Collection

This collection contains the recordings of elicitation sessions in the Oceanic language Daakaka, spoken on the island of Ambrym in Vanuatu. The focus of the project is on argument structure alternations of intransitive (stative/inchoative) and transitive (causative) predicates denoting a change-of-state, as well as the combination of manner- and result-denoting predicates in resultative serial verb constructions (JPH001-001 – JPH001-040). In addition, the collection also includes the questionnaire (JPH001-041) and three storyboards (JPH001-042 – JPH001-044), which have been specifically designed for the purposes of this project.
