dc.descriptionIn the sixth grade, Tupu Alualu played Pop Warner Pee Wee football at Palama Settlement, participating in the Pākōlea Program that included the Training Table for nutritionally balanced meals and the Learning Center for studying. At the Learning Center, he met Susie Cooke who tutored his group. She would become his makua hānai, supporting his education at Saint Louis School and his career.
