dc.description | Chad Kuili Ka‘ahanui was born on Moloka‘i in 1968, and raised primarily on the West and North sides of the island. He grew up like most Moloka‘i kids in the seventies, playing with nighbors, and fishing and farming for a living. He found out about the boarding opportunity at Lahainaluna through family and friends, and decided to apply. He attended Lahainaluna as a freshman, and enjoyed working with his boarder mates, playing sports, and hanging out with friends. After graduating from Lahainaluna High in the 80’s, he went on to work in O‘ahu before returning home to Moloka‘i. | |
