dc.description.abstract Research has shown that acoustical waves do affect the growth of plants. The first step in elucidating the pertinent mechanism(s) involves the determination of the testing frequency by using mechanical resonant frequency as the pertinent criterion. While the actual experimentation was not done, a method is suggested, along with possible transducers that may be used.
