dc.description.abstract	It was surprising to the author to find only scant written information on new small business venture capital risk analysis. Much has been written about the three, four, or five C’s of credit and traditional business financial analyses, but very little attention has been paid to venture capital risk analysis. Nevertheless, the major sources of information for this thesis come from the University of Hawaii and State of Hawaii (main branch) libraries and from personal interviews with some key credit and financial analysts in the major local banking and financial institutions. This work not claim to have exhausted all the available literature, research was concentrated on periodicals printed in the last 15 years and major books printed in the last 30 years.
