dc.description.abstract | The subject broached in the following paper is the effect of malnutrition on the ontological development of the brain. The intricacies of detail and vocabulary are mollified somewhat by the use of cybernetics in outlining the function and significance of various factors, such as synaptic connections and homeostatic controls within the brain, at different stages in its development. The subsequent ability of inability of anyone thus affected to ameliorate the poor social conditions responsible for such damage is touched upon briefly. | |
