Abstract
The present study deals with the analysis of the occurrence of essential hypertension and its related diseases on the population of Hawaii and a compari- son with other studies. This population (comprising 10, 287 individuals of 6 racial groups, both sexes, and ages 10-70) was found to have differences between the races with respect to cultural and biological variables.
