dc.description.abstract The chloro and fluorohalophosphines of O,N-dimethylhydroxylamine were prepared and characterized by NMR and mass spectral analyses. Some conclusions as to the dative π-character of the P-N bond are drawn from the 19F NMR temperature studies and from the localization of charge in the parent ions of the mass spectra.
