Abstract
If you read any of the 9 issues of the Tattler put our so far, let it be this one. This is because in recent months we have found out that, just like the people on the Oldsmobile commercial, this is not your father's taro market - times have changed and you'll see why in this issue. Today we are also going to try to clear up some misconceptions about the local taro and poi markets, provide some valuable feedback from our Los Angeles contact on the market for Chinese taro in that area, and also report on the Natural Products Expo West which we recently attended in Anaheim, California.
