Description

The eldest son of Kaimuki Inn owners describes his parents' work in the restaurant. He also recalls his family's move to Japan and experiences there during World War II. On their return to Hawaii, they opened George's Inn near Civic Auditorium. He talks about tanomoshi financing, learning to cook, and the downside of the restaurant business.
