dc.description.abstractProtocol for Conservation treatment for the recovery of Hawaiian and Pacific area maps from the University of Hawaii at Manoa flood damage was specified by Lynn Ann Davis, Head of UHM Library Preservation Department, with input in March 2005 from Mary Wood Lee, and May 2005 from paper conservators Debra Evans and Jeffrey Warda. Conservation treatments described in this protocol are in accordance with the Code of Ethics of the American Institute for Conservation (A.I.C.) and are described in detail in the A.I.C. Book and Paper Group Catalog, a compendium of treatment procedures.
