Abstract
The girellid fish Girella leonina (Richardson) and the holocentrid
Myripristis murdjan (Forsskal) are reported for the first time for the Hawaiian
Islands from underwater photographs taken at Midway Atoll. Both species can
be positively identified by the photographs.
