dc.description.abstractThe objective of this research project is the eventual elucidation of the amino acids located at the active site of myosin subfragment 1, a muscle protein involved in the contractile event. Initially, gross muscle structures will be presented followed by a surrmary of the molecular structure of the myosin molecule.
