Abstract

The subzone area is designated on the attached map identified as the Kilauea Lower East Rift (Kapoho Section) Geothermal Resource Subzone. The subzone area contains approximately 5, 636 acres, more or less, and is located west of Leilani Estates and extends eastward to Cape Kumukahi. The attached map defining the boundaries of the designated subzone is adapted from the U.S. Geological Survey topographic maps - Pahoa North, Pahoa South, and Kapoho Quadrangles.
