This SQL database file from the Catalogue of Endangered Languages (ELCat) can be used to access the raw vitality assessments for endangered languages.
Description
This SQL file provides access to raw endangerment assessments from the Catalogue of Endangered Languages (ELCat) (http://endangeredlanguages.com), including the four factors including in the Language Endangerment Index (LEI), as defined by Lee & Van Way (2016). These include number of speakers, intergenerational transmission, speaker number trends, and domains of use. The relevant tables containing this information are language_vitality and language_speakers.
