dc.description | Examines more than 300 published books and journal articles from across the field of linguistics to assess how researchers link their writings back to the underlying data. Results indicate that most data comes from authors' own research, but authors commonly fail to describe where the data may currently be found, and most authors fail to cite their examples using standard citation conventions. Presented at the first workshop on Developing Standards for Data Citation and Attribution for Reproducible Research in Linguistics, held at the University of Colorado at Boulder from 09/18/15-09/20/15. | |
