Abstract
This report presents the operations of a precast panel factory, Perma Betonila at Kangasila surveyed in Finland. Quite a few activities at this factory are considerably automated, especially those related to material transportation. This is among the advanced precast factories in the world for the manufacture of precast panels, for which a simulation model is written in CYCLONE to presented and depict the operations of this factory. The aim of this research is to study innovative prefabrication methods for mass housing, using concrete components. The operations at this factory are used as a backdrop for innovative design of operations of a more responsive factory - one that can turn out panels with high agility, since mass housing to overcome world housing shortages requires rapid production systems. This report deals exclusively with the operations of this factory and a simulation model of it.
