dc.description | In this session, we worked with Woleaian language consultant, Lenny Saumar, to continue transcribing his description of atoll photo #3 and #4 along with questions about related words. Lenny told a story about a typhoon from the late 1800s that devasted Eauripik and one of the Woleai atolls. And he explained a little about how godchildren & godparents are matched, and food is distributed. | |
