Abstract
The Conference provides an opportunity to share interdisciplinary perspectives formally, through presenting research papers and attending other panel presentations, and informally in the multi-cultural environment of the East-West Center in Hawai‘i. Participation in the 2018 conference involved 112 graduate students from 31 nationalities, and 54 prominent universities throughout the world. This student-initiated and student-led Conference has been held annually at the EWC since 2002 and is one of the largest international graduate student conferences focused on the Asia Pacific region. More then 275 abstracts were received for this year's conference.
