Raised by a single mother in Palama, a pastor portrays the positive effects of his strict upbringing and participation in recreation and competitive swimming at Palama Settlement. He speaks of his law enforcement career, including undercover, beat, patrol, PAL (Police Activities League), and detective positions, and later roles as chief investigator for the city prosecutor's office and director of law enforcement in the public safety department. The interview also covers the primary role Christianity plays in his life.
