Abstract
Dengue viruses, in common with other arbovirus, frequently produce an acute infectious disease in man characterized clinically by fever, hyperpyrexia, headache, pain in various parts of the body, skin eruption, and leucopenia. Recently, another more severe syndrome, dengue hemorrhagic fever accompied with fever shock and hemorrhagic dithesis, is reported to be associated with dengue viruses.
