Abstract
This section on the social impact analysis of geothermal resource areas gives emphasis to people's perceptions, attitudes, and concerns regarding geothermal resource development and-operation. Considerations are based on a general level of 20MW to 30MW geothermal generation of electricity and are based on available public information as of mid-May, 1984. Major social concerns considered in the following discussions are health aspects, noise aspects, lifestyle, culture and community setting, aesthetic aspects, and community input aspects.
